    ABOUT SENSOR MODULE

Battery Powered with Advanced Power Management:

The sensor modules are equipped with advanced ICs for power path management, battery management, and charging. This ensures efficient energy usage and long-lasting performance. The sensors can operate independently without requiring a constant power source, making them versatile for various environments.

    Connectivity with Local Cellular Networks

The sensors connect seamlessly to existing cellular networks, specifically Nepal Telecom or Ncell. This connectivity ensures that the data is transmitted in real-time to our web app, allowing users to monitor air quality continuously without interruption.

    sensor module

Sensor we use are made in Switzerland, ensuring the highest quality and precision. They are calibrated and certified to provide accurate real-time measurements of PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4.0, PM10, temperature, humidity, and VOC Index.

    Custom-Designed PCB and Enclosure

Our sensor modules feature custom-designed printed circuit boards (PCBs) and device enclosures. Designed and manufactured in Lalitpur, these components utilize as many local resources and market parts as possible, supporting local industry and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Advanced Device Security with TLS 1.2

Security is a top priority for Recent Air. Our sensors employ advanced device security protocols, including TLS 1.2 encryption, to protect data transmission. This ensures that all air quality data collected and transmitted remains secure and tamper-proof.

    What do we measure?

    PM 1.0

Particulate Matter 1.0 (PM1.0) consists of very fine particles with a diameter of 1 micrometer or less. These particles can penetrate deeply into the respiratory system, reaching the alveoli in the lungs. Monitoring PM1.0 is essential for understanding the impact of air pollution on respiratory health and taking preventive measures.

    PM 2.5

Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5) includes particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less. These fine particles can be inhaled deeply into the lungs, potentially causing respiratory and cardiovascular issues. PM2.5 is a significant indicator of air quality, often associated with vehicle emissions, industrial activities, and combustion processes.

    PM 4.0

Particulate Matter 4.0 (PM4.0) comprises particles with a diameter of 4 micrometers or less. These particles are larger than PM1.0 and PM2.5 but can still affect the respiratory system. Monitoring PM4.0 helps provide a broader understanding of air quality and the presence of larger fine particles.

    PM 10

Particulate Matter 10 (PM10) includes particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less. While these particles are larger and less likely to penetrate deep into the lungs compared to PM1.0 and PM2.5, they can still cause respiratory irritation and other health issues. PM10 is typically associated with dust, pollen, and other coarse particles.

    VOC

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are harmful chemicals found in the air. Our sensors detect and measure the VOC index, offering valuable information about the presence of these pollutants to help you take necessary actions for improving air quality.

    RELATIVE HUMIDITY

We measure the humidity levels, giving you insights into the moisture content in the air. This is crucial for maintaining indoor air quality and comfort, as well as preventing issues related to high or low humidity.

    Air quality Index (AQI)

The Air Quality Index (AQI) measures and communicates air pollution levels. It ranges from 0 (good) to 500 (hazardous), helping you understand and respond to air quality conditions to protect your health.
